This is a Mode 2 transmitter designed for throttle control through an electronic speed controller (ESC) with the left stick.
Right stick operates rudder and elevator.

1. Connect 8 AA batteries inside your transmitter and leave it turned OFF.
2. Connect your Motor without propeller to your ESC.
3. Connect your ESC to your Receiver on Channel 3.
(The wire orientation is yellow wire closest to the antenna)
4. Connect your Bind-Plug to the BAT channel.
(This is the black  loop of wire on the plug)
5. If you want to test a Servo, connect a Servo to Channel 1,2, or 4.
6. Connect any good charged Battery to your ESC. You should here a beep from your ESC (some ESC's do not beep) and your Receiver's red LED Light  will start blinking. The LED is hidden under the sticker.
7. While Holding down the Bind-Range-Test Button, turn on your Transmitter. After about 3 to 10 seconds the LED will stop blinking and you should be able to control your motor and any extra servos you connected.  If motor runs with throttle in the down and off position use the servo reversing switch to change (throttle).
8.  Disconnect the Bind Plug
9.  If binding fails, try again. Turning off the Transmitter and turning it on helps reset any errors.
10.  Check motor run direction.  Motor should run counter clockwise.  If not, switch any two wires from ESC to the motor.  Check again and it should be fine.
11.  Adding servos is easy.  Use channel 2 for elevator, and channel 4 for ailerons.
