This version of the Edge
540-V3 has been designed to use the popular 30cc petrol engines yet still offer
the levels of performance that you would expect.
The sleek balsa/ply
construction has been optimsed to give the right combination of strength and
low weightfrom a practical size of model that is equally at home on club
'patch' or a show flight line. Not a 3D model by any means, but there and
again, the full size was not designed with that in mind either. She is capable
of regular aerobatics and fast rolling manouevres just like the real one.
The top faired
undercarriage legs and sleek spats clothe the tough aluminium undercarriage to
add style to the basic need for something to land on! The bonus is that the
whole system is also very strong and can cope with some pretty rough surfaces.
That sleek and complex
scale cowling can hide most of the engine and silencer to really help keep the
flowing lines of the full size. The nose is finished off with a tough nylon
spinner mounted on an aluminum backplate.
If you are looking for
an attractive sports aerobatic model that is cheap to run and really looks the
part, then the Black Horse Edge 540V3 30cc could be the one for you.
